ABOUT US

The Scotia Dancers is a a 501 (c)(3) public charity organized as an arts education group and is an affiliated group of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.  Our financial data are available by viewing our 990 report on Guidestar.

Our mission statement, adopted at our 2003 AGM, states:

Scotia Dancers, affiliated to the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS), offers the
opportunity to enjoy dancing in the RSCDS style.
Scotia Dancers encourages intermediate and advanced dancers to develop additional
technical skills and familiarize themselves with more advanced dances and figures. Beginning
dancers are most welcome and are encouraged by more experienced dancers in hopes
that they will attend regularly and progress.

At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14 May 2007, the following officers were elected:
President - Vivian Anapol
Secretary - Paul Jeselsohn
Members at Large - Agatha Guzman (1 year term) and Rachel Luna (2 year term)
